Robotic Packaging Pharmacy Technician

Responsibilities:
- Able to work under the direction of a supervisor.
- Process prescriptions using OnDemand Express III machine.
- Operate, troubleshoot and maintain OnDemand Express III machine and other automated packaging systems.
- Monitor inventory levels and storage conditions for medications and pharmacy supplies.
- Maintain floor stock, including restocking and timely removal of expired medications.
- Rotate stock of medication areas to assure quality controls.
- Prepack for floor bulk prescribed medications.
- Package, fill, and ship medications using robotic packaging equipment.
- Adherence to all pharmacy operational and safety standards.
- Collaborate as a team player to meet the operational goals of the pharmacy.
- Complete any other task assigned by the supervisor.
Qualifications:
- Licensed Florida Pharmacy Technician required.
- Experience with robotic packaging systems.
- Previous data entry experience preferred.
- Experience with OnDemand Express III or similar automation systems preferred.
- Long Term Care pharmacy experience, a plus.
- Previous experience working in automated environment.
- Must be reliable and execute multiple tasks assigned.
- Strong analytical and critical thinking skills.
- Good organizational skills and detail oriented.
- Ability to physically perform light lifting.
Schedule:
- 2:30pm-11:00pm with rotating weekends and holidays.
