Responsibilities:
- Process damaged, waste, and expired medications according to SMC procedures and established pharmacy guidelines.
- Audit pharmacy shelves to identify and remove expired medications.
- Perform daily narcotic cycle counts.
- Maintain a high level of attention to detail when handling medications.
- Assist with medication fulfillment when necessary to support pharmacy workflow.
- Support pharmacy standards and ensure adherence to established policies and procedures.
- Comply with departmental policies regarding safety, attendance, and dress code.
- Complete additional duties as assigned by the Narcotics Pharmacist Supervisor and Pharmacist In Charge.
Qualifications:
- Licensed FL Pharmacy Technician required.
- High School diploma or equivalent.
- Previous pharmacy experience preferred.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Must be reliable and execute multiple tasks assigned.
- Basic Math and computer skills.
- Frameworks/ECM knowledge a plus.
- Ability to physically perform light lifting.
