Responsibilities:
- Fills Automated Dispensing System restocks for Facilities.
- Adds medications into the Automatic Dispensing System (ADS).
- Analyzes and adjusts quantities for different facility ADS machines.
- Assist with trouble shooting ADS issues.
- Organize setting up and prefill new ADS machines.
- Prepacks medications.
- Handle medication into blister card foils.
- Maintain active communication with PIC, Lead and pharmacy staff.
- Utilize reporting applications (myQlink, OmniCenter).
- Identify and address discrepancies to ensure proper billing.
- Replace potentially expiring inventory.
- Restock depleted inventory.
- Provide reports for the facility.
- Complete any other task assigned by the supervisor.
Qualifications:
- High School diploma or equivalent.
- Licensed FL Pharmacy Technician required.
- Previous pharmacy experience required (one-year experience in long-term care preferred).
- Experience with Automated Dispensing Systems (Pyxis, Omnicell) and Data Entry preferred.
- Able to use various programs and applications efficiently and able to troubleshoot ADS problems.
- Good organizational skills and detail oriented.
- Basic math and analytical skills.
- Ability to physically perform light lifting.
